A Few Side Notes

Every restaurant has a few sides.

Ours have funny names.
Please let us explain…

Baba Ghanoush (or Gannoush) (or Ghanouj) is roasted eggplant. But you won’t recognize it. It’s smashed and spiced and seasoned into a tasty dip. It’s zesty, light tan in color, and plays well with others.

Tabbouleh (or Tabouli) is an intense green salad made with parsley as its primary ingredient, but accented by onion, olive oil, fresh diced tomato, and a dash of lemon to wake up the bright flavors. Ours is made with Quinoa instead of traditional Bulgur wheat, making it gluten-free.

Tzadziki is a yogurt-based sauce flavored with cucumber and garlic.

We have 2 versions of Mediterranean salad. We have one consisting of cubed veggies, cucumber tomato and onions… and a spicy version with green Serrano peppers to kick it up a notch. Okay, two notches. They both include zesty lemon juice and olive oil.

Set aside time for a side. Or two.
